Salary Range:
• $20 - $50 per hour (depending on experience)

Experience & Education/Certification:
• 1 year field experience repairing heavy construction equipment required
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends


Required Skills & Knowledge:
• Knowledge of heavy construction machinery components including diesel engines, power transmissions, hydrostatic drives, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnostic capabilities with hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
• Ability to make repair decisions quickly and rationally
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive material
• Schedule work, recommend equipment downtime, and order parts as needed
• Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Basic skills in stick or MIG welding (or both)
• Basic skills with OXY/Acetylene torch


Here's what you'll be doing:
• Repair and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Provide technical support to technicians or service personnel via phone, email, or on-site
• Communicate effectively with field personnel and dispatch
• Ensure quality repairs to minimize repeat work
• Follow all governmental and company safety policies
• Comply with Human Resources policies
• Review tool requirements to improve efficiency
• Report deficiencies to improve preventive maintenance programs
• Participate in technical training and share knowledge with team members
• Coordinate with dispatch and parts personnel for timely parts delivery
• Collaborate with internal departments, field managers, and mechanics
• Maintain required personal tools (company does not provide standard tools)
• Keep service truck clean and organized
• Comply with all Trimble/Telogis regulations
