As an industry leader committed to excellence in customer satisfaction, our company will continue to provide innovative products and solutions to the waste-to-resource and soil-related industries we serve.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperations:Operate heavy equipment (dozers, front end loaders, backhoes, excavators, grinders, compactors) efficiently and safelyProduce a consistent quality product with no customer complaintsCoordinate with R & M and transportation to insure necessary equipment, fuel, tools, and materials are availableWork directly with R & M to ensure all equipment is operating at a safe levelPerform manual labor when necessaryRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryOther duties may be assignedComplete daily inspection of equipment at start and end of shiftClean off machines inside and out daily (tracks, cab, lift arms, battery boxes, buckets)Ensure equipment is fueled and serviced daily.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required by R & MComplete daily equipment inspection sheetComplete daily labor/equipment log/formFollow all safety guidelinesQualifications & Requirements High school graduate or GED equivalentConsiderable knowledge of heavy equipment operationWorking knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operationsAble to follow verbal and written instructionsAble to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditionsAble to work very flexible scheduleIncumbent will be required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and ambulate around the production siteLift/carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basisExposure to loud noises, hot/cold temperatures, dust, and other environmental factors**Compensation will be based on experienceWhat We DoWith three locations in Columbus, our company offers quality landscape materials, and more, to landscape professionals and home owners.
