Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Heavy Equipment Operator (Pot Carrier, Truck Driver, Haul Truck) Reports To: Site or Mill Services Manager Overview of Position: Perform on-site heavy equipment operations. Loading, extracting, and transporting materials including molten steel. Handling components, modules, and systems of heavy equipmentConverting heavy equipment with various mobile accessoriesObserving relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulationsPerform routine and Pre/ Post Trip inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to the supervisor.Clean equipment Maintain and protect all property. Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs. Provide outstanding customer service operations. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or GED Vocational training as a heavy equipment operator Phoenix on-site training as required. REQUIRED SKILLSDemonstrated experience in operating front loaders, haul trucks, skid loaders, etc.Ability and willingness to operate trucks and various transportation equipment. Demonstrated experienced as an operator. Able to lift 40lbs. Experience with and knowledge of technical equipment and machinery. Results orientated/Strong work ethic. Must work flexible hours and shift work. Reliability, enthusiasm, teamwork Well-developed interpersonal skills – ability to get along with diverse personalities. Must Possess Valid Driver’s License Day Shift and Night Shift available
