We are looking for an experienced individual that can support the logistics process from quote to delivery. This individual will be responsible for communicating with both client and carrier. RESPONSIBILITIES:Driven to grow a division and revenue in Heavy Haul and Over-Dimension loadsWorking familiarity with Heavy Haul and Overdimesional Loads related operations, processes, and systems Ability to multitask and prioritize shipments and responsibilitiesSelf-motivated and customer service-orientedGood communication skills and attention to detailObtain proper information and/or data regarding carrier paymentsHandle many carrier calls and emailsSet carrier invoices for payment and maintain carrier balance sheetsResearch and resolve carrier payment discrepancies and issuesPost available loads, and find trucks from Sims Global extensive carrier network to haul customers' loadsNegotiate rates with customers and carriersProfessional follow-up and coordination between customers and carriersQualifications:A minimum of 2 years of current experience arranging Heavy Haul/Over Dimension Loads. Highly motivated, competitive, personable, and outgoing person that can work autonomously and in team environments and provide results. Must possess strong communication, decision making, time management, presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.Good problem-solving skills and ability to research solutions to difficult issues.Excellent organizational skills.Proficient computer skills.Strong analytical skills.Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once.Ability to work as an individual while also supporting the overall team.
