What you'll do
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and suspension systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment including triaxle dump trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, screeners
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics.
- Execute fabrication tasks as needed to enhance equipment functionality.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair.
- Proficiency in heavy truck and equipment repair techniques including brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts.
- Additional Pay incentives for a CDL (A or B),
- PA State Inspection License (highly desired).
