ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic thriving team. This program is in support of the United States Coast Guard Academy providing technical assistance to computer users. This position is located on site in New London CT.Day to Day Work Responsibilities may include:Responsible for answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person or via telephone or electronicallyProvide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software including printing installation word processing electronic mail and operating systemsProvide exceptional customer service to both internal/external customersQualificationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree and 0 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 4 years experienceU.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearancePrior Help Desk experience requiredMust have knowledge of Windows/Office 365 applicationsMust have the ability to troublshoot diagnostic issuesNetwork and/or Security certificationsPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
