ALBANY, NEW YORK (USA). The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY is seeking a seventh AP/CP board-certified, Hematopathology fellowship-trained pathologist to join our expanding Division of Hematopathology.Clinical Activities include:Hematopathology sign-out (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF on a rotating basis)Shared Hematopathology callA second area of interest is desirable but not requiredAcademic Activities Include:1-on-1 and group sign-out with hematopathology fellow, residents, medical students and visiting observersDidactic lectures, unknown slide conference and supervising residents’ presentations such as journal club, gross conference and grand rounds.Translational research opportunities are available and participation is encouraged and supportedOur department places strong emphasis on a positive collegial work culture that fosters shared growth through professionally rewarding mentorship/menteeship opportunities.
