This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success.Responsible for direct patient contact primarily for the evaluation and treatment of medical and musculoskeletal pathology consistent with the scope and practice of athletic training clinical competencies as defined by the BOC and state practice acts. Job settings can include health care clinics secondary schools youth sports clubs collegiate athletics and/or professional clubs.Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:2 Years of athletic training experience.Must be willing and able to travel and work irregular hoursMust possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population including but not limited to athletes coaches administrative staff physicians volunteers and other medical personnel.Relevant job setting experience preferred.Bachelors CAATE-accredited professional Athletic Training program required. Bachelors in Athletic traning or related field required.Athletic Trainer CertifiedAthletic Trainer Registration/Licensure to be obtained prior to the start of athletic coverageBLSDrivers LicenseMedium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly).This role will work with our Durango High School.
