Teacher Coordinator / Work Based Learning Licenseor ability to secure an Out of Field Permission. 3. Strong general academic background. 4. Ability to relate positively to students staff and community. 5. Demonstrated approach to student-centered instruction in an interdisciplinary environment. experience and proficiency working with a culturally ethnically racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred. Description of course: Student will learn at an advanced level with a professional in their field of interest. Each student develops a personalized educational plan. Classroom instruction will focus on interpersonal communication and independent learning skills assisting students in in-depth learning about their field of interest and helping them continue their learning with a the Internship portion students will define and produce a meaningful project to add to their learning portfolio under the guidance of their mentors and the field experience instructor. Students will develop and apply the skills gained in the guidance of their mentors and the field experience instructor. Students will develop and apply the skills gained in the seminar and evaluate their field experience. Students must provide their own transportation to the field experience site. Responsibilities: 1. Develop community and business partnerships. 2. Co-facilitate advisory committees (co-chair recruit members prepare for meetings prepare reports.) 3. Ability to travel out of building to work sites. 4. Other duties as assigned. Responsible To: Building Principal Compensation / Benefits: According to contractual agreement.
