Job Description: Job Title: High-Voltage Connector / HV Harness Engineer Job Location: Auburn Hills, MI Work Schedule: On-site Rate: $75/hr, Based on experience. Responsibilities: Lead the technical development, validation and supplier integration of high-voltage connectors and HV harness systems used in EV/hybrid powertrains. Ensure compliance with HV safety, EMI/EMC, and integration requirements. Key Responsibilities • Define HV connector and harness specifications (terminals, insulation, shielding, sealing). • Develop/execute DFMEA & DVP&R; for HV connectors/harnesses. • Work with battery, inverter, OBC and power electronics teams. • Troubleshoot HV faults during prototype and production builds. • Support supplier selection, APQP, and technical reviews. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. • 4+ years HV harness/connector experience and HV safety standards knowledge. • Experience with DVP&R;, DFMEA and automotive validation. Preferred • Supplier engagement, OEM/Tier-1 connector experience, CATIA/NX familiarity.
