Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a true scratch kitchen and want to add people like you to join us as we grow in Charlotte!A Line Cook is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen operations in preparing meals and ingredients. Their duties include organizing and labeling food items in storage closets, preparing soup, bagging soups, performing tasks like chopping ingredients, and sanitizing their workstation during and after service.Their duties and responsibilities include:Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Head Chef or other kitchen managerLabeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelvesWashing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meatsMeasuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredientsParboiling food, reducing sauces, and starting the first steps in various dishesCleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware taking out the trash, and sanitizing the kitchenAdhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standardsKeeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to order resupplyPay varies based on experience
