Role: Travel Polysomnographic Technician (PSG Tech/ Sleep Technician) Location: Ithaca NY Duration: 13 Weeks contract Shift: 12-hour night shift Schedule: 36 hours per week/3 days in a week Pay breakdown: Hourly rate - $63.00 $19.45 taxable $43.55 non-taxable OT rate - $94.50 Weekly Gross - $2268.00 $700.00 taxable $1568.00 stipend Job Summary: Polysomnographic Technician (PSG Tech/ Sleep Technician) The Polysomnographic Technician (PSG Tech) is responsible for conducting overnight sleep studies and related diagnostic tests to evaluate and diagnose sleep disorders. This role includes preparing patients for procedures monitoring physiological data throughout the study ensuring patient safety and assisting in preliminary scoring of sleep recordings for physician review.
