Role OverviewThis Hiring & Engagement Coordinator supports the full employees life cycle-from recruiting and onboarding to engagement safety and brand representation. This role partners closely with department leaders to ensure positive employee experience and a compliant well-organized workplace.Compensation$20.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experienceWhat We OfferTraining & Growth Paid hands-on training career development and clear advancement opportunitiesWork-Life Balance Flexible PTO sick leave holiday pay volunteer time offHealth & Wellness Medical dental vision supplemental insurance employer-paid life insurance employee assistance program Anytime Fitness discountFinancial Perks 401(k) with company match Christmas Club savings/matching annual boot allowance reimbursement company uniforms employee referral programDiscounts & Extras Employee discounts on products/services supportive team culture built on collaboration & learningKey ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OnboardingManage the full hiring process including daily applications review facility tours and new-hire onboarding.Maintain job postings assist walk-in applications and coordinate staffing needs with management.Send daily hiring recap email and prepare monthly hiring reports.Conduct new hire- recap orientations and support ongoing onboarding touchpoint Employee EngagementPlan and support recognition events company celebrations and non-profit partnerships.Organize monthly ESI EmployeeSatisfaction Index committee meetings and manage employee recognition nominations and awards.Contribute to employee culture initiatives and engagement activities.Safety & ComplianceMaintain on-site safety programs require signage and first-aid supplies.Facilitate quarterly safety meetings safety walkthroughs and Mock OSHA inspections.Complete accident and near miss reports maintain I-9s and OSHA documentation and support cost containment requirements.Coordinate CPR training manage sales licenses walks and collaborate with Comply Safety users. Brand & RepresentationRepresenting the company at job fairs and local recruiting events.Manage uniform distribution apparel inventory and business card orders.Maintain the company directory and support in-house employer branding and marketing content.Required Skills and QualificationsProven experience in recruiting onboarding or human resources coordination.Strong communication organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates employees and leadership.Knowledge of OSHA standards I-9 documentation and safety/compliance procedures.Event planning or employee engagement experience.Proficiency with HR and compliance platforms (e.g. Netchex Comply Safety).Professionalism dependability discretion and strong relationship-building skills.Willingness to complete a pre-employment background checkAbility to stand or sit for extended periods (6 hours)Ability to lift up to 20 lbs comfortablyAbility to bend squat kneel or stoop occasionallyPreferred Skills and Qualifications Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience in safety compliance or HR administration.Background in event planning or community engagement or employer branding.Familiarity with cost-containment programs and insurance reporting Strong understanding ofonboarding and employee retention best practices.Ideal Candidate ProfileA proactive people-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic collaborative environment.
