JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

HOG BUYER/STATION MANAGER

Full Time

_ SUMMARY: _

Responsible for the proper handling of livestock that includes: sorting, counting, weighing, and tattooing.

_ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: _

Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
Able to work overtime as needed
Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Maintain accurate inventory of livestock
Sorting
Loading/unloading
Work directly with yard personnel
Purchase livestock
Pursue new growers
Ensure that livestock is properly cared for
Administrative responsibilities
General Maintenance of grounds, facilities, and equipment
Alleyways, pens, and chutes
Vehicles and skid steers
Mowing and weeding
Office/Restroom cleaning
Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned

_ QUALIFICATIONS: _

Valid driver's license and insurable under company guidelines
Must have or be able to obtain a CDL
Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines in the
Positive customer service skills
