This is a temporary maternity leave position, with strong potential for continued employment and advancement into other roles within the company. Possible future opportunities include:Front DeskOrdering & InventoryPatient CoordinationWellness Support RolesIf you are a self-starter with strong customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, we want to meet you.Responsibilities (Immediate Medical Assistant Role)Assist practitioners with patient care using traditional and holistic modalitiesAddress and manage provider messages in PraxisCreate new patient charts, ensuring accurate documentation and labelingCopy daily schedules from MindBody into Praxis, including provider notesScan and upload physical medical records into the appropriate chartsSort PraxDocs with accurate service and collection datesRequest medical records from outside facilities as neededManage incoming and outgoing faxesCreate patient charts for HBOT clearance requests and attach documentationSchedule patients per provider requestHandle medical-related calls from pharmacies, labs, insurance companies, and medical officesProcess medication and supplement script requests, imaging orders, and medical/surgical clearancesAssist with prior authorizations and appealsSubmit Boston Heart inquiries as directedAssist with EKGs, vitals, and Alpha-Stim devicesProvide scribing support when necessaryAssist patients during checkout, schedule follow-up visits, and support supplement purchasesQualificationsMedical Assistant experience preferred but not required for the right candidateExperience with Praxis preferred but not requiredStrong computer skills; familiarity with Google WorkspaceInterest in holistic wellness, functional medicine, and integrative healthcareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPositive, dependable, and team-orientedStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesQuick learner with high adaptabilityCustomer service mindset is essentialIdeal CandidateWellness-minded and open to holistic health approachesA supportive and collaborative team playerThrives in a learning-focused environmentEmpathetic, professional, and patient-centeredProactive and able to take initiativeWhat We OfferOpportunities for advancement across multiple departmentsSupportive and collaborative team cultureExposure to both eastern and western medical practicesCompetitive pay and company discountsHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and three references to: [email protected] Interviews Thursday, 12/11/25 & 12/16/259:00 am11:00 am 6622 Main Street, Suite 7, Williamsville, NY No appointment required.
