Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing Homecare team. If youre passionate about helping patients regain independence in their homes we want to hear from you!Coram & surrounding towns $85k$95k HomecareWhat Youll Do:Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area Provide 1:1 treatmentEvaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needsDeliver care that aligns with professional standards agency policies and the prescribed plan of careEducate family members home health aides and other caregivers on proper therapy techniquesPlan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain improve or restore physical function relieve pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.Perform and document an initial exam evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visitEvaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefitMust be willing to treat geriatric patients.What We Offer!Competitive salary: $85k$95k generous PTOMedical dental life & LTD insurance401(k) with company matchTuition reimbursement & CEU opportunities$1500 annual stipend for specialty certifications (Schroth Pelvic Floor OCS PCS NGS WCS)Flexible scheduling see patients any 7 days/week with preference in your primary areaSupportive mentorship for documentation and complianceQualifications : Occupational Therapist Program GraduateLicensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications.Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.Ability to travel to patients homes within the assigned geographic territoryStrong communication skills between patients support staff and management including timely responses via text email phone etc.Additional Information : The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85000.00-$95000.00. Salary is based on various factors including relevant experience knowledge skills other job-related qualifications and geography. Additionally this position is eligible for incentive compensation. The Companys incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
