Inventories puts up and distributes supplies equipment and mailWhat you will doProperly identify and mark all patient charge items using stickers or cardsDeliver medical surgical supplies on demand supplies and STATs as assignedKeep accurate records on all storeroom transactions for which he/she may be responsibleAccurately inventory all assigned areas and commodities to maintain established par levelsMonitor supplies in various nursing departmentsEnsure rotation of stock in all assigned departments and the storeroomTransport supplies mail etc. between and within both facilitiesMinimum QualificationsHigh school or GED equivalent for regularly scheduled positionsOne year storeroom or related experienceMust be able to communicate in EnglishAbility to operate all appropriate material handling equipment and use or learn to use the departments computerized systemPosition Highlights and BenefitsPer diem current needs are up to 40hrs days shift including weekendsMinistry/Facility InformationMercy Medical Center has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
