As the region’s only independent, not-for-profit hospital, it offers specialized care in orthopedics, spine care, cancer, cardiology, neuroscience, and more.Our hospitalist program presently has 10 daytime physicians and 2 nocturnist physicians, along with APPs.7 on/7 off model for them.We have a separate intensivist team here 24/7.This position will be approximately 70-75% clinical and 25-30% administrative with dedicated administrative days. M-F schedule, full benefits, 30 days paid time off.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Hospitalist Medical Director based in Jupiter, FL. The Hospitalist Medical Director will oversee the daily operations of the hospitalist program, manage the hospitalist team, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and develop and enforce clinical protocols. The role involves coordinating with other departments, managing patient flow and resource utilization, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Medical Director will provide direct patient care, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.QualificationsMedical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineCurrent, unrestricted medical license in the state of FloridaExperience in hospitalist medicine and healthcare administrationStrong leadership, team management, and organizational skillsProficiency in developing and implementing clinical protocols and quality improvement initiativesExcellent patient care, diagnostic, and treatment skillsEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirementsCommitment to continued medical education and professional developmentemail Lane Mitnick, Director of Physician Alignment, [email protected] Information:Details:Competitive Annual Compensation, 30 days PDO, Paid Relocation, Sign On Bonus, Quality Bonus
