Locum Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatric Join a dedicated team at a Family Birth Center located in the scenic Grass Valley, California. This facility offers a compassionate environment for both patients and healthcare professionals, with settings that include a Family Birth Center (L&D, Nursery), Emergency Department, and Inpatient services. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality care for newborns and pediatric patients, ensuring safety and support through partnerships with nurses, OB/Gyn, Anesthesiologists, ED Physicians, Hospitalists, and Tele-Intensivists. Job Responsibilities: Round daily on newborns and provide coverage for any newborn delivery needs. Conduct ED consultations and admit patients from the ED to the inpatient setting. Perform neonatal resuscitations and assist with pediatric resuscitations in the ED. Engage in necessary procedures, including airway management and venous access. Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management. Qualifications: Board Certification in Pediatrics or Board Eligible within the last 5 years (Required) Active State License (Required) DEA Certification during credentialing (Required) Malpractice coverage (Highly Preferred) Availability for specific dates as required (Required) License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification (required) State License (required) DEA Certification (required for credentialing) Malpractice history (highly preferred)Experience the charm of Grass Valley, a vibrant community known for its rich history and stunning natural landscapes.
