Hospitalist - Full-time Position in Lake Charles, LAPosition Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Lake Charles, LA. This full-time position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $325,000, plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus, a $25,000 start bonus, and the potential for additional quarterly bonuses. This role features a 7-on/7-off schedule, allowing for an ideal work-life balance.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Perform patient assessments, manage acute conditions, and oversee the coordination of care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring continuity of care.Participate in daily rounds, including patient evaluation, management, and discharge planning.Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall efficiency of hospital operations.Serve as a consultant to other physicians and healthcare providers, offering expert advice on patient care.Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical advancements.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary of $325,000.$25,000 sign-on bonus and $25,000 start bonus.Eligibility for quarterly performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive relocation assistance.Student loan assistance available, with PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) eligibility.H1B visa sponsorship available.Schedule:7-on/7-off schedule, providing ample time off for personal and professional activities.Qualifications:M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.Unrestricted Louisiana medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).Experience in a hospitalist role preferred, but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.Location:Lake Charles, LAThis position offers a unique opportunity to join a thriving healthcare system in a supportive and collaborative environment.
