The hospital offers 24/7 emergency services, advanced diagnostic imaging, inpatient surgery, ICU services, and a broad range of rehabilitative programs, serving as a central healthcare provider for West Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical practice
• Perform daily inpatient rounding, admissions, and ongoing management of hospitalized adult patients.
• Manage a wide range of acute conditions across internal medicine, including cardiac, respiratory, infectious, gastrointestinal, and complex chronic medical issues
• Coordinate care with specialists in cardiology, general surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and behavioral health as needed
• Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, therapy services, pharmacy, and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide discharge planning ensuring smooth transitions of care and patient understanding of post-discharge instructions
• Utilize hospital diagnostic resources including labs, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine imaging, and respiratory services
