As an assistant medical director you will aid the hospitalist medical director in oversight and support of all clinical and non-clinical activities provided by the program plus ensure the team maintains focus on providing the best quality patient care to those we serve. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Clinical shifts as a hospitalist with administrative tasks Assist with recruitment efforts and HR tasksRoutine clinician communication within the program and providing feedback as neededCollaborative with specialists and support staffAssist with managing the program to meet clinical, operational, and financial goalsMaintain open rapport with facility leadership Orientate and onboard new hires into the program Oversee program staffing and scheduling Meet regularly with nursing, facility leadership, and directors of ancillary departments that support the hospitalist's workAid in and provide input for routine performance reviews Embrace the opportunity to foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth while providing exceptional patient care, together!
