Director of Sales & Marketing (Hotel)Monterey Peninsula CAISCs team of Hospitality Recruiters is partnering with a leading and highly ranked Hotel and Golf Club on a Director of Sales & Marketing opportunity in the sunny Monterey Peninsula. We are seeking an accomplished and visionary (Hotel) Director of Sales & Marketing coming out of the hotel space who can adeptly lead all sales marketing and branding initiatives. This dynamic role is responsible for developing and executing innovative short and long-term strategies to maximize revenue across all property outlets including rooms meetings and events and F&B operationsThe ideal Director of Sales & Marketing candidate will bring proven leadership in hospitality sales and marketing a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and the ability to position the property as a premier destination in its marketDirector of Sales & Marketing Responsibilities- Duties for this role include:Develop and implement strategic marketing/sales plans designed to drive revenue strengthen brand positioning and optimize profitability across all business segmentsDirect marketing branding and promotional efforts to ensure consistent market presence and high visibility across digital social and traditional channelsManage day-to-day department operations including scheduling recruiting budgeting forecasting and performance analysisMonitor market trends and competitor activity to determine pricing strategies that balance cost competition and demandPrepare and present accurate sales reports and marketing budgets highlighting market share direct sales results and upcoming strategic initiativesLead the group meetings and events (MICE) sales strategy to grow market share build strong planner relationships and position the resort as a preferred destination for corporate and incentive eventsDevelop partnerships with key travel consortia networks and agencies to maximize leisure revenue and enhance visibility in target marketsDrive proactive sales efforts including client outreach site visits FAM trips and participation in trade shows to build lasting client relationshipsLeverage technology and analyticsincluding CRM systems digital automation and AI-driven insightsto identify new business opportunities and track ROI across channelsCollaborate with revenue management to align group and leisure sales with pricing strategies distribution and demand forecastsOversee creation of compelling proposals presentations and offers tailored to client needs ensuring a competitive edge in the marketplaceEvaluate performance of sales and marketing initiatives and provide actionable insights to executive leadership for continuous improvementDirector of Sales & Marketing Requirements- To qualify you should have the following:5 years managerial experience in hotel/resort sales and marketing (luxury or boutique property experience preferred)Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Marketing or a related fieldor equivalent education and experienceDemonstrated success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive measurable resultsIn-depth knowledge of MICE leisure and digital marketing best practicesStrong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-oriented approachProficiency in CRM and revenue management systems as well as digital marketing platforms and analytics toolsDirector of Sales & Marketing Rewards- If you qualify the company offers:Opportunity to lead a talented/collaborative team at a highly regarded and guest-focused property where your leadership makes a direct impact on property successCompetitive salary performance-based bonus and exceptional benefit package including 80% company-paid medical dental and vision coverage complimentary life insurance complimentary long-term disability retirement plan with 5% company match employee discounts on property including golf dining and moreCulture is positive small/very tight-nit passionate team that comes together to do big shows and eventsExciting career pathopportunities learning and growing within a strong hospitality operation inthis highly visible roleHow to Apply:Please contact Jaami Clement directly at 888.866.6625Referrals Do you know someone who may be a fitWe gladly pay $500 for referrals that result in a hire and keep all referrals confidential unless you ask us to use your name.
