The Auto and Light Truck Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, commercial vehicles, and mixed fleets. Working within a small team of 2-4 mechanics, the role utilizes OEM brand tools, generic diagnostic equipment, advanced computer diagnostics, and manual inspection techniques to ensure vehicle safety and performance. This position offers growth opportunities into technical specializations and cross-training in other trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and troubleshoot issues across systems
• Repair and maintain engines, brake systems, and electrical systems
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes and inspections
• Repair suspension and fuel systems
• Use OEM and generic diagnostic tools and software for accurate assessments
• Collaborate effectively within a small mechanic team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in engine diagnostics and brake system repair
• Experience with transmission maintenance
• Skill in electrical systems troubleshooting
• Competence in suspension repair and fuel system maintenance
