With almost 150000 followers our team is responsible for posting fun and exciting content to help recruit new students and retain existing ones. Were looking for a current UW student who is creative can work independently and check in with our upbeat team to contribute new ideas that will help us reach our goals. Whether its an event concert or a football game your content is pivotal to showing the vivid atmosphere of what its like to be a Poke.Were looking for someone who spends a lot of time scrolling the latest TikTok trends and has the ability to put themselves out there to bring UW to life on social media. The perfect intern is as good with video editing as they are walking up to someone in Prexys and asking them to be in one of UWs takeovers. We work closely as a team to come up with fresh new ideas so you should enjoy working collaboratively. Most of your time will be spent out and about on campus producing content for our social media channels.JFNTMPESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities:Creating unique weekly content mainly for TikTok and also other social media channels when requestedWork collaboratively with the UW digital marketing team to come up with new ideas to help recruit and retain studentsEdit quick hit videos on your phone or at the office when neededAdd captions to social media videos when neededAttend events and gatherings that appeal to different interests and gain photos/videoAssist our team with weekly social media content planningAssist with writing student-focused blogsWhen needed assist Social Media Coordinator with monitoring high-traffic social media commentsRequirementsAbility to produce video and photo content quickly and creativelyPersonal experience with making videos for TikTokUp to date knowledge of TikTok trendsGood communication through texts and emailAttend weekly content planning sessionsOutgoing approach to gaining participation from other studentsSome video editing (we will train you on what you dont know!)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Current UW StudentExperience with creating video content through mobile phoneREQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:Complete the online application.
