Hours per week: Part-time16 hours Fridays and Saturdays onlyLocation: Mount PleasantThis position reports to: Director of FacilitiesThe mission: Seacoast Church goes all out in our mission to help others Find God Grow your Faith Discover your Purpose and Make a Difference. Its not magic that makes our church clean and ready to go day in and day out its our Facilities Team! Our Facilities team work hard behind the scenes to prepare our church facilities to host guests during the Weekend Experience weekly meeting located on site and special events and conferences.Key ResponsibilitiesHeart to ServePrepare building for the Weekend Experience week day ministry events and other hosted meetings and special conferences and church eventsEnsure scheduled areas are set/cleared for building use as assignedEnsure all scheduled event areas are in excellent clean conditionSet up venue per event request and ensure all resources are set up as requested; tables chairs trash cans and special propsProvide essential maintenance services for the church grounds and buildingsIncluding but not limited to: changing light bulbs changing filters and other routine maintenance itemsProvide janitorial services as neededProvide grounds clean up as required; mowing landscaping grounds upkeep etc.Perform spot cleaning or remedial repairs if neededUnder direction of the Facilities Supervisor ensure all set up and tear down for all rooms and facilities are completed accurately and promptlyFollow procedures and checklists to ensure proper security lighting and equipment controlJob EssentialsChrist Follower (Seacoast Church makes hiring decisions aligned with our religious beliefs and faith)Ability to lift 40 pounds on consistent basisSelf-starter with ability to work in a team environment and without direct supervisionMechanically inclinedAbility to work a flexible schedule including opening or closing shiftsHigh level of proficiency with housekeeping functionsLive and drive Seacoast cultural values to Love God.
