The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties as applicable to the assigned area(s) procedures and protocol.

Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred.Proficiency in the English language required. Possess ability to follow written and oral instructions required.Self motivated and possess ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population required.Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred.Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.CPR may be required per assigned area(s)Job Specific Duties:Prioritizes job functions to maintain proper workflow.Identifies the need and performs duties without specific direction.Exhibits working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices per assigned area(s). Maintains equipment and resources appropriately and safely.Exhibits working knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control as applicable to assigned area(s).Follows confidentiality and safeguards for all patient and/or customer related information.Responds to pages in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).Performs job duties efficiently and per department procedure protocol and in accordance with State of Montana laws and regulations for assigned area(s).Stocks assigned carts for appropriate departments in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).The above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification.
