Housekeeping Supervisor Part-Time at Iberia Medical Center

JOB SUMMARY:  Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest Integrity of the Environmental Services Department. Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms nursing units offices and clinical areas waiting areas lobbies lounges rest rooms corridors elevators and stairways in a clean neat and sanitary manner. Includes buffing floors as needed.WORK HOURS: Rotatingshifts from four to eight hours with some overtime when requiredWORKERSSUPERVISED: HK-1 HK-2 HK-Surgery AttendantSUPERVISED BY:Assistant Manager Department ManagerQUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION- Mustbe able to read and write.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE - Job requires previous supervisorexperience and current hospital experience is desired. The employee will complete an orientationprogram of sufficient duration and content to prepare them for specific duties; One to three (1-3) years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience preferredJOB KNOWLEDGE - Job requires employee to perform tasksand assignments under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and/orDepartment Director. Is expected toanalyze situations and act within the scope of standard procedures.
