Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor helps maintain high levels of cleanliness within guest rooms and public areas through inspection reporting and cleaning. The Housekeeping Supervisor also helps train and manage staff. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping.Job Posting DeadlineApplications for this position will be accepted until December 28 2025.Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities    Help train and manager housekeeping staff     Brief housekeeping staff on events occupancy of the day and the cleaning focus of the day     Provide housekeeping staff with necessary tools to complete cleaning assignments       Monitor the speed of housekeeping staff to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner      Make housekeeping boards with the cleaning focus of the day     Inspect rooms and public areas for overall cleanliness    Maintain constant communication with front desk about early arrivals late departures and room requests     Stay abreast on occupancy of the day departure and arrivals event(s) of the day VIP rooms special requests and guest reviews     Assist in cleaning rooms and public areas as needed       Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Education & Experience Requirements     High School Diploma or equivalent required     2 years of management experience preferred    5 years of housekeeping or cleaning experience preferredKnowledge Skills & Abilities      Proficient knowledge of industry trends and best practices     Proficient knowledge in company policies and procedures     Detailed knowledge of internal processes workflows and decision-making protocols     Proficient knowledge of employee management strategies performance evaluations and conflict resolution techniques.     Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain team cohesion     Skill in assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their strengths     Skills in coaching and mentoring team members to help them grow professionally     Proficiency in planning managing and executing projects within scope and deadlines     Ability to handle difficult customer interactions and ensure high levels of satisfaction     Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality     Ability to communicate in English and Spanish Additional Information : Work Environment & Physical Demands     Ability to reach crouch kneel stand or be on your feet kneel and bend for extended periods of time     Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces    Must be able to frequently lift push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position but no more than 50)Job BenefitsThis position is classified as a regular full-time position eligible for the following benefits:Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.      Health Dental and Vision Insurance Programs    Flexible Spending Account Programs    Life Insurance Programs    Paid Time Off Programs    Paid Leave Programs    401(k) Savings Plan    Employee Ski Pass and Dependent Ski Passes     Other company perksThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
