Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for honest, dependable individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to join our team.BenefitsHealth, dental and vision insurance (full-time employees)Paid Time Off (full-time and part-time employees)401K plan with company match (full-time and part-time employees)Hotel discounts (full-time and part-time employees)Paid holidays (full-time employees)Early access to earned wages ResponsibilitiesThe Houseman's primary duty is providing assistance to the housekeeping staff. As a Houseman, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays.Greet guests in a friendly mannerReport maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repairStock and maintain supply rooms, as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks and special projectsFollow company's safety and security policies and proceduresPerform other job related tasks and duties required by supervisors.  SMI Hotel Group recruits the best and brightest, in order to deliver the highest quality service to our guests.
