If so, Calvary Children's Home may be where your next chapter begins.About the Role: Ministry Meets Family LifeAs a Houseparent couple, you'll live in one of our on-campus cottages and serve as the daily caregivers, spiritual mentors, and family models for children who've experienced loss, hurt, or disruption. You'll cultivate a loving, Christian home through structure, nurturing relationships, and Christ-centered discipleship.This role is ideal for married couples-whether mid-career, recently retired, or seeking vocational ministry together-who desire to serve hand-in-hand and make a tangible, lifelong difference.What You'll DoYou'll create a rhythm of life that offers safety, healing, and growth for up to 8 children, ages 6-18. Your core responsibilities will include: Establishing a peaceful, family-style home with routines, meals, devotions, and shared life Teaching practical skills and healthy habits-cleanliness, homework routines, social graces Disciplining with compassion, consistency, and the heart of a mentor-not as an enforcer Partnering with teachers, counselors, and staff to ensure each child's full well-being Hosting birthdays, holidays, and special milestones as family celebrations Attending church, modeling prayer and spiritual rhythms, and supporting each child's walk with God Coordinating medical appointments, school needs, and extracurricular activities You'll work in 10-day shifts, followed by 4 days off-with full support from relief houseparents during your time away.Your ProfileYou're not just looking for employment-you're discerning a calling.
