The program can provide eviction prevention and deposit assistance prioritizing applications based on need rather than a first-come first-served basis.We value the respect and dignity of all. We aim to create a space that is physically and emotionally safe for all regardless of race ethnicity nationality religion gender gender identity or sexual orientation.Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:The Housing Advocate Lead provides direct support to program participants while guiding and mentoring case management staff to ensure consistent high-quality service delivery. This role upholds program standards through trauma-informed person-centered practices and actively contributes to program development implementation and evaluation. The Housing Advocate Lead strengthens team collaboration supports improved housing stabilization outcomes and serves as the primary point of contact for housing advocates and community partners when the Housing Coordinator is unavailable. This position operates under the supervision of the Housing Coordinator.RequirementsRequiredBachelors degree requiredAt least 1 year of experience in social services or related field requiredPassion for helping others and a desire to work in an organization that serves people who are experiencing poverty and houselessness requiredWeekends some holidays and after-hours support requiredExperience working with the houseless community requiredPatience punctuality commitment and responsibility requiredRequired within 6 months of hire:Acquire First Aid/CPR/AED certificationComplete the Bloodborne Pathogens and Naloxone TrainingSatisfactory ORCHARDs background check completed post hire:Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:Valid drivers license with acceptable driving recordProof of current auto insuranceAccess to reliable transportation requiredSatisfactory criminal background check requiredPreferredEnglish/Spanish bilingual preferredGeneral knowledge of substance abuse and mental illness and Trauma Informed Care preferredWork experience with HIPAA and client confidentiality preferred Key Skills Athletics,Admin Support,External Audit,ASP,Blogging Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 28 - 29
