JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours) 12 months Non-Union positionLOCATION: Marshall MNLight Up Homes as a Housing Energy Auditor/Inspector! With hands-on training and certifications this role lets you grow your skills while helping your community.WHAT YOULL DO: Be the Energy Hero: Visit homes to test diagnose and recommend upgrades that save energy and make life more comfortable. Take Charge: Manage housing projects from start to finishanalyze energy savings create work orders and coordinate contractors to get the job done. Share the Knowledge: Teach homeowners energy-saving tips and tricks that can lower their bills and carbon footprint. Keep It Moving: Make sure tools equipment and vehicles are in tip-top shape and ready for action. Lead with Excellence: Represent our agencys mission and values in everything you do.SKILLS TO WOW US: A knack for understanding how homes are built and how to make them better. Stellar communication skillsyou can chat with homeowners contractors and community leaders like a pro. Tech-savvy enough to handle intermediate computer tasks with ease. Great at juggling priorities and meeting deadlines without breaking a sweat. The ability to oversee construction projects and ensure everythings up to code.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of post-secondary training in construction engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience OR a mix of education and experience that fits the bill. A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.WHATS IN IT FOR YOU Starting salary of $21.27 - $32.69/hour - plus benefits!
