Supporting multiple separation and biochemical analysis methodsSupport the analytical testing for process developmentChemical labeling of biological samples HPLC separation and data analysisPreparing buffers packing columns setting up sterilization sampling and cleaning of systemsDocument laboratory activities electronically and enter process data into database.Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairsBe responsible for following safe laboratory practices and for maintaining the work area in a clean orderly and safe mannerCapillary electrophoresis (caliper or PA-800)Supporting two dimensional separation methodsQualifications : Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in biology chemistry or other related degree concentration.1-2 years of wet lab experience internship experience in industry highly preferredChromatography experience Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipThe Ideal Candidate would possess:Strong computer scientific and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policiesExperience in the analysis of therapeutic proteins using various UPLC and HPLC Techniques including IEX SEC HIC and RPExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail hands-on capability ability to learn quickly and be a self-starterAbility to work independently as well as be a strong team player to meet program needsSelf-motivation adaptability and a positive attitudeThe candidate must have effective documentation skills with the ability to author internal technical reportsExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required and experience with Empower is highly preferred.Additional Information : This position is Full-Time Monday through Friday 9a.m. to 5 p.m with overtime as needed.
