Were growing across multiple states and seeking a Human Resources Consultant with New York State expertise to guide our compliance benefits and HR operations.If youre a detail-oriented HR professional who values structure ethics and flexibility-this is the role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate employee benefits (health dental vision retirement).Oversee workers compensation disability and unemployment claims.Handle insurance renewals documentation and audits.Complete all NYS-level regulatory filings (DOL Department of State etc.).Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks.Advise leadership on HR best practices compliance and employee relations.Support annual training (e.g. harassment prevention documentation standards).Liaise with vendors brokers and auditors on HR matters.Qualifications7 years of progressive HR experience in compliance benefits or insurance administration.In-depth knowledge of New York State employment law (multi-state experience a plus).Strong communication and organizational skills.SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.Experience with nonprofits or healthcare/human services is a plus.What We Offer$50-$55/hr based on experience.Flexible part-time schedule: 5-10 hours per month.Fully remote role (NY expertise required).Meaningful work: help build systems that support professionals changing lives.How to ApplyClick or send your resume and a brief cover letter to sharing why this role excites you.Required Experience:Contract Key Skills Cost Accounting,Graphic Designing,Access,Account Development,Communication Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 50 - 55
