DescriptionWe are looking for an accomplished HR Director to lead and strengthen the people function for a fast-growing public company in Houston, Texas. This onsite HR Director is a hybrid of tactical and strategic that offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership to shape talent strategy, enhance employee experience, and establish the HR foundation needed for continued expansion. The ideal candidate brings both executive-level perspective and a practical approach to building programs, processes, and teams in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:• Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, guiding people initiatives that support business growth and organizational priorities.• Build and refine HR programs, policies, and operational processes that create a scalable foundation for a rapidly expanding company.• Lead planning efforts related to headcount, recruiting strategy, succession planning, and long-term talent development.• Assess organizational structure and recommend changes that improve alignment, efficiency, and readiness for growth.• Foster a strong workplace culture through initiatives focused on engagement, retention, morale, and effective change leadership.• Provide direction on employee relations matters, including coaching, performance support, conflict resolution, and management guidance.• Oversee core HR operations such as benefits administration, open enrollment coordination, reporting, and day-to-day employee support.• Partner with teams across Finance, Legal, Operations, and IT to address business challenges and deliver practical people solutions.• Present workforce insights and HR recommendations to senior leaders to inform decision-making and business planning.• Evaluate and improve HR systems, processes, and hiring support to meet the demands of a high-growth, data-driven organization.Requirements• 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources leadership, with the capability to operate at a senior director or executive level.• Proven success building or scaling HR functions within organizations experiencing significant growth.• Background working in both startup-style and publicly traded company environments.• Strong expertise in employee relations, HR administration, compensation and benefits, and compliance.• Demonstrated ability to design and implement HR frameworks, programs, and processes in evolving organizations.• Experience supporting high-volume hiring, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with confidence engaging executive stakeholders.• Adaptable, detail-oriented leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fully onsite setting.Job typePerm
