The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Battle Creek region seeking HR Generalists. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for production skilled trades and administrative roles within the manufacturing plant. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies procedures and employee relations issues. Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws including OSHA regulations and manufacturing-specific standards. Administer HR programs such as onboarding performance management and benefits enrollment for plant personnel. Conduct investigations into workplace incidents grievances and disciplinary matters ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. Support the development and delivery of training programs including safety compliance and skills development for the manufacturing workforce. Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data for all plant employees supporting payroll and reporting needs. Recommended Qualifications Experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws including OSHA regulations and HR best practices. Proven ability to manage employee relations conduct investigations and resolve conflicts effectively. Proficiency in full-cycle recruitment with experience hiring for production skilled trades and technical roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport across all levels of the organization from shop floor to management.
