Job Summary:

At Redwood Family Care Network, the human resources team is focused on what our employees need and how to provide it. We're searching for a qualified and resourceful human resources generalist to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with important functions such as employee relations, training, maintain records and HRIS system, leaves, benefits and enforcing company policies and practices.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits; leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; and training.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate person.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with Ceridian or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS system.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years' related experience required.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
