HR Generalist - Contract Role

Our client, a manufacturing organization in Franklin, OH, is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources department supporting a dynamic team of over 50-55 salaried employees and more than 200 hourly employees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Franklin, OH

Pay Range: 60k-70k

What's the Job?

• Support day-to-day human resources operations within a manufacturing plant environment
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate employee records, process HR documentation, and manage HRIS updates
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies
• Support managers with performance review processes and employee development initiatives

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 24 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
