The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Hudsonville seeking experienced HR Generalists. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production maintenance and administrative roles. Provide guidance on employee relations disciplinary actions and conflict resolution within a manufacturing setting. Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws company policies and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA). Administer compensation benefits and leave programs including accurate payroll processing for a diverse workforce. Coordinate and facilitate training programs including safety compliance and skills development for manufacturing staff. Oversee workers' compensation claims incident reporting and return-to-work programs. Support performance management processes including goal setting reviews and corrective action plans for all departments. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g. FMLA ADA FLSA EEO). Proven ability in employee relations conflict resolution and conducting investigations. Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce including production and skilled trades. Familiarity with OSHA regulations safety protocols and workers' compensation processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with union relations or collective bargaining. Demonstrated involvement in workplace safety programs or OSHA compliance initiatives. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies. Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
