Key Responsibilities Recruit interview and onboard production skilled trades and administrative staff for manufacturing operations. Manage employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures for plant personnel. Administer HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and manufacturing-specific safety regulations. Oversee the full lifecycle of workers' compensation claims and actively promote a strong safety culture within the facility. Support performance management processes including annual reviews and performance improvement plans for manufacturing teams. Process payroll inputs administer benefits programs and manage leave of absence requests for plant employees. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for manufacturing personnel including safety and operational training. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues grievances and conflict resolution in a production setting. In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g. FLSA FMLA ADA) and experience with OSHA compliance and workers' compensation processes. Demonstrated ability to recruit for a variety of manufacturing roles including production maintenance and supervisory positions. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP/SCP PHR/SPHR) preferred. Bonus Qualifications OSHA compliance knowledge or experience. Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish). Experience supporting a multi-shift or 24/7 manufacturing operation. Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
