Full-timeDescriptionTalent Management GeneralistWashington DC Hybrid/Remote $28.84 - $33.65/hr Washington Post Top Workplace (8x winner)Community of Hope is seeking a Talent Management Generalist to help create a supportive values-driven workplace where every employee can this role youll guide team members through medical leaves and accommodations assist with training and culture-building initiatives manage essential HR processes and ensure our practices remain compliant and aligned with COHs mission. This is a full-time position located at our Conway Health and Resource Center in SW DC.Our Approach and Values:We celebrate peoples strengths and acknowledge the impact of trauma on peoples lives.We embrace diversity welcome all voices and treat everyone with respect and compassion.We lead and advocate for changes to make systems more equitable.We strive for excellence and value integrity in all that we doWhat Youll Do:Manages employee requests for medically necessary extended time off and accommodation requests ensuring compliance with state and federal laws including the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) DC FMLA Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Protecting Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PPWFA) and COH policy. Leads supervisor trainings on medical leave and accommodations on an ongoing basis. Leads and coordinates Lunch and Learn schedule by working with staff across the organization to develop a robust and engaging schedule of events. Oversees the scheduling coordination and facilitation of annual Anti-Harassment Mandated Reporter HIPAA and OSHA trainings for all employees. Tracks and ensures these items are completed and saved to personnel with members of the Compliance team as needed regarding mandatory training requirements. Composes staff newsletters and internal communications including the monthly Insider weekly transitions and the monthly DEI newsletterCompletes all employment verifications that are received within 3 business days. Completes all wage garnishments that are received with supervisor approval within 3 business daysRegularly audits employee files to ensure compliance as needed.Handles sensitive information with care and discretion to ensure confidentialityRequirementsMust Haves:Bachelors Degree required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills requiredAttention to detail and strong organization skills required1-3 years of HR or equivalent experience required.
