HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN Location: 12621 Harris Branch Pkwy., Manor, TX 78653 Schedule:Part Time, Onsite (30 hours per week) Position Type: InternshipReports to: HR ManagerStart Date: We're looking to fill this role quickly Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field (Sophomore level preferred) Academic background aligned with Human Resources or a closely related discipline Language Skills English: Required Spanish: A plus Professional Training / Working Skills Strong administrative skills Effective written and verbal communication skills HR-Related Knowledge Basic knowledge of Human Resources functions Experience or familiarity with documentation and record keeping Additional Skills & Competencies People-oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor Strong customer service mindset Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly Key Responsibilities Assist with the collection, filing, and maintenance of HR records, including employee files, performance documentation, and record retention materials Conduct quarterly employee file audits to ensure accuracy and compliance Post job openings on SuccessFactors and Handshake, monitor applications, and share candidate pools with hiring managers Coordinate and participate in candidate interviews Support pre employment verification processes, including background checks and drug screenings Assist with event scheduling and coordination Maintain the employee training system and training plans, ensuring records and evidence are current and properly documented Schedule training opportunities for employees and ensure completion documentation is maintained Perform quarterly audits of the training system Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and completion of required documentation Ensure job descriptions are current and maintained on file; update existing descriptions as responsibilities evolve or create new ones for newly established roles Assist in reviewing and updating HR practices to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements Support HR policy updates and revisions Assist with the launch and support of Quality Management Systems Perform additional duties related to the role, including contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, workplace environment enhancements, and supporting industrial safety, environmental protection, and energy management activities relevant to HR operations Support the employee recognition program and assist with the creation and distribution of the monthly employee newsletter As a responsible company, OPmobility pays particular attention to diversity and equality within its teams and the Group commits to treat all job applications equally.
