HR Manager (Part-Time Flexible Hours)
Location: Green Bay, WI (Onsite)
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week with flexible scheduling
Pay Range: $27-$30 per hour
Employment Type: Contract / Direct / Part-Time

A reputable client in the Green Bay area is seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide hands-on support across core human resources functions. This role offers flexible hours, making it an excellent opportunity for an HR professional seeking work-life balance while remaining engaged in strategic and operational HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain employee personnel files and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant

  • Administer employee benefits, including health, life, supplemental insurance, EAP, vision reimbursement, and 401(k) enrollment

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: job postings, applicant tracking, interviews, reference checks, offer letters, and onboarding

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure onboarding paperwork is completed within required timelines

  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and job descriptions

  • Manage employee recognition programs and support employee relations matters

  • Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure proper documentation of employee issues

  • Prepare exit paperwork and conduct exit interviews

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices

  • Other HR-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum of four years of HR experience preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and payroll

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and discretion

  • PHR certification preferred but not required

Work Environment
  • Office-based position in a professional, temperature-controlled setting

  • Light physical activity may be required (up to 20 lbs)

  • Occasional travel or special events may be required
