Key Responsibilities Oversee high-volume recruitment and onboarding for production technical and skilled trades roles. Manage employee relations including grievance resolution disciplinary actions and conflict management on the shop floor. Ensure compliance with all labor laws company policies and manufacturing-specific safety regulations (e.g. OSHA). Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity. Develop and execute workforce planning strategies including succession planning and initiatives to reduce turnover among production staff. Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to attract and retain a skilled manufacturing workforce. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment. In-depth knowledge of labor laws HR best practices and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) relevant to manufacturing. Expertise in talent acquisition employee relations and performance management for a production workforce. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational goals and drive employee engagement. Strong communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to manage diverse employee groups effectively. Bonus Qualifications Experience with unionized environments or collective bargaining. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. OSHA 10/30 certification or extensive experience in workplace safety program development. Proficiency with manufacturing-centric HRIS or timekeeping systems (e.g. Kronos ADP Workforce Now). Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish Vietnamese) to support a diverse workforce.
