Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative staff. Manage employee relations including grievance resolution disciplinary actions and fostering a positive work culture. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and industry regulations. Administer compensation benefits and performance management programs tailored to manufacturing roles. Coordinate and deliver training programs including safety skills development and compliance for all employees. Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation. Partner with operations management to develop workforce planning strategies and address staffing needs. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment. In-depth knowledge of employment law HR best practices and compliance regulations relevant to manufacturing operations (e.g. OSHA FLSA FMLA). Strong expertise in employee relations conflict resolution and fostering a positive work culture among diverse production teams. Demonstrated ability to manage talent acquisition onboarding and retention strategies for both skilled and unskilled manufacturing roles. Knowledge of safety programs workers' compensation and the ability to collaborate with operations on health and safety initiatives. Bonus Qualifications Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety best practices.
