Manage employee relations including grievance resolution disciplinary actions and conflict management in a plant environment. Ensure strict compliance with all federal state and local labor laws as well as OSHA regulations and plant safety protocols. Develop and implement training programs focused on safety technical skills enhancement and leadership development for supervisors. Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the manufacturing sector. Drive performance management processes linking individual and team goals to manufacturing productivity and quality targets. Partner with operations leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies to meet production demands. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as an HR Manager specifically within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of labor relations including experience with collective bargaining and unionized workforces. Expertise in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations and compliance relevant to manufacturing operations. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition development and retention strategies for skilled production and technical roles. Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analytics to drive HR insights and decision-making. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Proven experience in labor relations or unionized environments. Certifications in relevant safety programs (e.g. OSHA 30-hour General Industry). Proficiency with HRIS modules specific to manufacturing (e.g. advanced time & attendance shift scheduling).
