DescriptionHearst Televisions WMUR-TV in Manchester NH has an immediate opening for an HR/Payroll Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to support one of Americas leading television stations. This position provides human resources and payroll support for more than 100 employees. The HR/Payroll Coordinator reports to the General Manager. This station leader will lean heavily into HR skills and will support aspects of the fiscal management of the station as well as performing other business office functions. The ideal candidate must possess excellent and positive communications skills and interact well with others. This candidate will need to stay organized and on schedule for core responsibilities. Trustworthiness is a key trait as this individual will be exposed to highly confidential information.What youll do:Recruiting assistanceOnboarding/offboardingLeave managementBenefit related assistanceWellbeing and employee engagement championEmployee data management through Oracle HCMPerformance managementVarious HR reportingAssists with employee relations and various business office functions such as invoice and cash receipt coding.Bi-weekly payroll review/processing/reconciliation through ADP for 100 employeesUnion collective bargaining agreement relationsWhat we are looking for:Eagerness to take on challenges and learn evolving areas of HR and business office functionsMaintain confidentiality in all aspects of the positionStrong team player willing to take initiative and be an enthusiastic go-to personAbility to work in a fast paced quick deadline environmentExcellent communication skills requiredExperience with various software applications including Excel ADP Oracle Cloud Human Capital ManagementRelated experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experience.Human resources experience; PHR/SHRM-CP a plusPayroll experienceHearst Television is a proud supporter of military veterans.
