We are committed to supporting families empowering staff and maintaining a positive mission-driven work culture.We are looking for an experienced HR Senior Supervisor to support and oversee our Human Resources operations in California. This role is essential to ensuring compliance strengthening HR processes and supporting our growing team.Position SummaryThe HR Senior Supervisor will oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with California employment laws and organizational policies. This role requires strong leadership attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple HR functions while supporting staff and internal departments.Knowledge of California labor laws is ideal but not mandatory; candidates with strong HR leadership experience and willingness to learn will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support the HR team across various functions.Oversee the full HR process including but not limited to:Recruitment & HiringOnboardingEmployee RelationsPerformance ReviewsHR Compliance & DocumentationPersonnel File ManagementOffboardingEnsure adherence to California state regulations and internal policies.Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR matters.Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate records.Partner with leadership to support organizational needs and culture initiatives.Support payroll coordination and timekeeping verification.Oversee credentialing background checks and required certifications.Assist in investigations corrective actions and conflict resolution.Promote a professional respectful and inclusive work environment.QualificationsBachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field (preferred).35 years of Human Resources experience; supervisory experience strongly preferred.Strong Familiarity with California labor laws.Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Experience in healthcare education or behavioral services is a plus.Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paycom) preferred.Spanish Proficiency Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.What We OfferCompetitive compensationPaid trainingGrowth opportunities within a mission-driven organizationSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on families and childrenSchedule & Work SettingFull-time positionBased in California (on-site or hybrid depending on company needs)How to ApplyApply directly through Indeed with your updated resume.Candidates selected for interview will be contacted by our Recruitment Team.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Employee Relations,Succession Planning,Customer Service,Assistant Manager Experience,Millennium,Conflict Management,Workers' Compensation Law,HRIS,Payroll,Employment & Labor Law,Human Resources,Leadership Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
