Job Description

Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Compensation: $140-150K Location: San Diego CA Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner California to join their team. The HR Business Partner will support and manage a wide range of human resources functions under the direction of the VP of HR serving as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted resource for employees. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Must have working knowledge of payroll processes in ADP.Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with California labor laws and regulations.Manage full-cycle recruitment and selection including interviewing and providing hiring recommendations.Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance management employee relations and corrective actions.Administer employee benefit programs including health insurance retirement plans and leave policies.Conduct training programs to enhance employee knowledge and HR compliance awareness.Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws.Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.Handle employee grievances and mediate conflicts to promote a positive work environment.Stay informed on HR trends best practices and legal updates.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; or equivalent HR experience.Minimum of 5 years of HR experience preferably in a business partner or managerial role.Strong knowledge of California HR laws regulations and best practices.Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
